Maintenance Manager
£41,500 plus excellent benefits package,

This is an incredible, wide-ranging maintenance role, helping to keep the highest standards of refurbishment, maintenance, presentation, and services across one of the most beautiful Estates in the country. If the challenge excites and motivates you then read on.
About us:
We are the Ascott Estate, a 16th century former hunting box filled with exquisite art and surrounded by extensive gardens, woods, a cricket ground, tearoom, and other properties. A year-round calendar of seasonal events, cricket matches, and stunning views and walks ensures a constant flow of visitors of all ages enjoying the beautiful ambiance.
So, no ordinary maintenance role as you will have gathered. We need a highly skilled individual to work within the property and maintenance team to identify preventative maintenance needs and work with the team and external contractors to ensure timely and high-quality solutions to other maintenance issues as they arise.
In particular:
· Inspection, specification, control, planning and administration of all refurbishments.
· Communication and motivation with all contractors and team members, setting expectations and ensuring project plans are delivered to the highest standards, in a timely manner, and on budget.
· All supporting administration including work records, invoice authorisation, timesheets, annual leave, and expenses.
Essential Requirements:
· Evidence of Commercial & Domestic Plumbing qualifications (Ideally NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent).
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
· Excellent communication with other departments and customers.
· Familiarity with health and safety regulations and risk assessments.
· Experience in a comparable environment where you’re used to the highest standards of maintenance
We pay a very generous 10% into your pension. 25 day’s holidays plus bank holidays completes the picture.
