Exhibition: Not Just Us

Exhibition: 'Not Just Us' at Ascott Estate - 11 - 12 September, 11:30 - 17:00

Not Just Us is a digital exploration referencing the awe and wonder of colour in the natural world as seen through numerous eyes. The two-day exhibition in the Pavillion Long Room displays scenes and details found and recorded by contemporary artist Graham Fudger at a dozen locations over the summer. Each 60-second video is assembled with multiple stills crafted in Photoshop using the artist’s transitional hue process to infer visual perceptions across a range of species in the nature-space… including our own.

About Graham:

He recently conducted a year-long study of Colour in Contemporary Art funded by the Arts Council, completing it with a three-day residency at Sir Isaac Newton’s family home, courtesy of the National Trust.
