
House and Collections Tour
Join Ascott's knowledgeable House and Collections Manager, Hazel Crozier, for an informative guided tour.
Discover Ascott's extensive collection, featuring works by notable artists such as Gainsborough, Reynolds and Hogarth, as well as Chinese porcelain, Dutch and Flemish paintings and 18th-century furniture.
Uncover the history of Ascott House, including the 1606 inscription on a beam that marks its origins as a farmhouse. Gain insights into ongoing conservation efforts and future plans for the estate, ensuring its preservation for years to come.
You will have the opportunity to explore the House and Collection at your own pace following the tour.
Prices and Information:
- House and Collection tours run on the first Tuesday of every month between April and September at 13:00-14:00 (1 April, 6 May, 3 June, 1 July, 5 August and 2 September).
- Pre-booking is reccomened due to limited capacity.
- £8 per person – National Trust Members
- £15 per person – Non-National Trust Members
- Tickets for this event include general admission to the House and Collection. Please note, a separate Gardens ticket is also required.
