Tickets
All Grounds tickets must be pre-booked online for National Trust members, Local Resident Pass holders and paying visitors
We are limiting the number of visitors each day to allow for social distancing
There is a maximum capacity of Grounds tickets available each day, and therefore we are likely to be sold out prior to arrival
Please follow the current government advice on interacting with people outside of your household
Please do not visit if you or a member of your household has had any symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days
Please select your time of arrival using the HALF HOURLY slot options. This is to ensure we evenly spread out the arrival of our visitors throughout the day. You are welcome to stay until 5:30pm
You can only book up to two weeks in advance. Further tickets will then be released weekly each Friday
Arrival and on site
All tickets will be checked on arrival at the entry gates. Please have your printed ticket or mobile phone with the booking to hand and follow staff instructions for scanning
Anyone arriving without a booking may be turned away
Keep to the Government-advised two metre distance from other visitors
Follow directional signs where indicated
Disabled parking is available – please make car park attendant aware.
Facilities
The Tea Room is open for takeaway snacks and drinks
The toilets are open. We have not been able to adapt the spacing in toilets, so please do your best to be considerate to others and respect distancing (toilets at the Cricket Pavilion will remain closed)
If you’re able to, please bring hand sanitiser with you. Hand Sanitiser stations are located by the entrance kiosk and toilets.

The Visitor Mobility Buggy and Garden Wheelchairs are currently unavailable for use. There is a 300 metre walk from the Car Park to the Garden.
